Vasiliki-Natalia Felekoura holds a Master’s degree in Architectural Design from the National Technical University of Athens and is a licensed architect in Greece. She is currently a candidate for the Post-professional Master of Architecture at Princeton University.
Her architectural practice is shaped by a sustained, long-term engagement with both the performing arts and architecture, resulting in a distinctive compositional and conceptual approach that informs her work. She understands everyday life as a choreography—an unfolding sequence of movements produced by bodies acting instinctively and freely in space. In her design approach, she works with these bodily presences as if choreographing them, allowing spatial compositions to emerge in a natural and organic manner, akin to the growth of a tree extending surface roots.
The qualities she seeks to explore and generate through architecture are further articulated in the projects included in this website. As Annie-B Parson writes in The Choreography of Everyday Life, “there are issues of tempo and issues of space in navigating a public area, and these are the very same issues of the body in time and space that are elements of choreography.”
